Position:          Healthcare Data Analyst

Location:         45 Ludlow St., Yonkers, NY 10705

Job Duties: Utilize data analytics to support regulatory compliance, clinical performance, and population health improvement; Perform ongoing data audits, root cause analysis, and cross-system reconciliation to identify discrepancies and ensure the integrity of Electronic Health Record (EHR) data; Develop and implement policies and practices to improve the privacy and security of sensitive patient information; Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports that guide decision-making; Leverage informatics science to strengthen healthcare quality, ensure regulatory adherence, promote evidence-based care delivery, and improve documentation practices.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Health Informatics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or a closely related field plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

One year of experience must include:

Structuring healthcare data into reliable, standardized datasets and developing dashboards to facilitate analysis, reporting, and predictive modeling using SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau;
Performing data quality checks on electronic health record (EHR) data;
Identifying and correcting inconsistencies in diagnosis codes, screening records, and clinical documentation;
Analyzing patient-level datasets to track screening compliance and identify care gaps;
Cleaning datasets using duplicate removal, standardization, and validation;
Generating reports and summaries that translate raw healthcare data into actionable insights to support clinical and operational decision-making;
Reviewing and validating medical records for accuracy and completeness;
Supporting data governance and documentation standards;
Supporting quality improvement initiatives through data analysis and reporting.

 Rate of Pay: $106,267-$110,000 per year

 Hours:  40 hours per week
